Lionsgate has announced the highly anticipated release date for the upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," a prequel to the popular "The Hunger Games" trilogy.
Set to hit theaters on November 17, 2023, the film will star Tom Blyth as a young Coriolanus Snow, the future President of Panem, and Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute from District 12.
"The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" tells the story of Snow's formative years as a mentor in the 10th Hunger Games, where he meets Lucy Gray and the two form an unlikely alliance that will shape the future of Panem forever.
